Wakeup Educational and Charitable Trust expects that all donors will exercise due care and diligence while making donations. We also recognize that a donation may be made erroneously or donors may change their mind.
Donations once made to the Trust through the online payment gateway or any other medium are generally non-refundable. Since the funds are immediately allocated towards ongoing social projects (Education, Food Supply, Medical Camps, etc.), we do not entertain refund requests.
If you have made a duplicate donation or an erroneous transaction due to a technical glitch, please contact us within 7 working days of the transaction. You must provide:
Upon valid verification of a duplicate or technical error, the refund will be processed back to the original payment source (Credit Card/Debit Card/Bank Account) within 10 to 15 working days. Please note that any transaction charges or taxes levied by the payment gateway/bank will be deducted from the refund amount.
If you have signed up for a monthly or recurring donation plan and wish to cancel it, you can do so at any time. Please notify us at least 5 days before the next scheduled deduction date to ensure the cancellation is processed in time.
In the event of a refund, any tax exemption certificate (80G Receipt) issued against that particular donation will become null and void. Donors are requested not to use such cancelled receipts for tax filing purposes.
